Mercedes-AMG developing 1,300-hp hypercar

The latest report shows that Mercedes-AMG is working on a competitor to the Bugatti Chiron.

According to GT Spirit, hypercar from Mercedes is going to has 2.0-liter four-cylinder (!) petrol engine with 1,000 horsepower, which will transmit its power to the rear axle and two electric motors with a power of 150 hp each powering the front wheels. In conjunction with a weight of 1300 kg and a two-seater body has to guarantee amazing performance and driveability.

On GT Spirit’s website we read that the car will cost a trifle 3,3 million dollars and be available only for selected customers of the brand. Of course, this will not only car on the track, but like the Bugatti Chiron will be allowed to public roads.

This news should be treated with considerable distance, because the values are very unlikely. Production of 2-liter 1000 hp would be a challenge for AMG. Another problem is the director of AMG, Tobias Moers. Recently he announced that his department has no plans in the near future production hypercar.

Ten 2 litrowy silnik to chyba jako agregat prądotwórczy do ładowania akumulatorów i rozruch głównego motoru
